CloseI'm really unhappy with where I am living right now, and the lease is coming to an end. I do not trust my landlord to do things the right way. I'm informing them in writing, taking pictures of the apartment as it is now, and making sure things are clean and in good repair.
How long does it take to get the security deposit back? What should I do if they delay?

Its a good idea to give your notice in writing, and take pictures. I would ask to be there for the finan inspection, and find out what your landlord intends.
(Hint: If they look at you funny when you say things like "final inspection" you know there's a problem. They might need some guidance!)
