CloseI Rented my apartment as a single, but I have had my sister living with me. Now she is moving and I need a new roomate. My landlord says fine, but the new roomate will have to have a background check.
Thoughts?
Yes, your landlord has a right to know what kind of person is living on their property. A background check means criminal background usually. This protects you as well. Doesnt mean credit check, you are still responsible for the lease
